New Member from Dallas. Hello.

Well I bought a new 4 Runner and looking at the paint brought me into the world of detailing. I have the classic spider web look in the bright sun and want to learn how to take care of it myself. I must say I am nervous I have my shopping cart with the porter cable and some meguires #82 and Meguires new car glaze #5. I hope this is the right set up for a newbie I do not want to be so aggressive so green.



Does this setup seem ok?

Try not to get used to using glazes as they temporarily hide the defects...

Don't be nervous about paint correction. The Porter Cable DA is a safe tool. Watch a few of Mike's videos and you will be set. There's a lot of info on here and a lot of people willing to help. If you need any help just let me know

Tip , I would persoanlly go with meguiars ultimate compound for the new guy. Almost as agressive as m105, but with more work time
