So After spending 2 years detailing out of my Grand Marquis and trailer I have upgraded to a van. I was tired of spending much unneeded time looking for stuff while out on a job because of the lack of room. I had about 3K to spend on a van and I was looking for an Astro Van. Well it seems everyone wants an arm and a leg for the cargo vans so I started looking at passenger vans. Again with 3K in hand most of the vans had 150k+ After a few weeks of looking I found this GMC Safari with 109K for $2400.

When I got the van the rear seat was already removed and I was planning on keeping the 2 captain chairs in the middle because I have to pick my niece and nephew up from school and take them places. Seemed better to leave the seats in than drive home get my car then get them. Well the 2 seats lasted for about 3 weeks lol then I pulled one seat out so one gets to sit in front with me:eek:

I have a bin for polishing/wax towels, one for glass/ drying, and one for pads and terry clothes. I have a container for all my spray bottles and waxes etc, one milk crate for all my brushes, one container for dirty rags, one container for all purpose rags and my buffers. I have a spot for my steam cleaner, my 10x15 canopy/ cinder blocks, a spot for my buckets and a spot for my vacuum.

All and all it's not to bad!

Don't go trying to look at the website because for one it says .com but it's really .net and the website isn't active yet.

The trailer is equipped with a 13hp 4000 psi 4 gpm Honda Pressure washer, 6250 watt Coleman generator(things a beast! Runs my compressor, steam cleaner vacuum everything I could need at the same time!) It has a 33 gal Air compressor works awesome with my tornador(Never runs out) and a 100 gal water tank.

Nice set up, and the van looks like it's in good shape too. You might think about putting a shelf behind the back seats, then you could have the seat and storage room too. Just a thought, not telling you what to do.

Looking Good!!!!:applause::applause:

What all do you carry in the trailer:Picture::buffing:

I considered shelving but I don't want to be climbing in and out of the back all the time.

You could probably find a way to mount shelves on the rear swing-out doors. That would be easy access, and easier to organize than a tub full of bottles. Just a thought.

That Safari is CLEAN! You obviously detailed it, but it must have been in pretty good shape when you bought it. No visible rust or anything. Awesome!

You got an amazing deal on that van.... it's in shockingly good condition for the mileage.

nice set up.what kind of steamcleaner are you useing?

It doesn't run as well as it looks. It's ok just a few problems.

It's a VX5000. I'm still not sure what I think about it. Not sure if I just got a 'bad' one or my expectations are too high.
