"Absolute Rinseless wash was formulated from the ground up as a premium soap alternative. Utilizing a unique subset of polymers. Absolute encapsulates and emulsifies dirt beyond what soap is capable of. Water is instantly softened upon mixture of Absolute, thus reducing chances of hard water spotting. The end-result is a purely clean and slick surface. Absolute allows you to wash vehicles anywhere, anytime. Whether you are a detailing professional or passion driven enthusiast. Absolute is safe and easy to use on all exterior and interior surfaces. Designed for use on paint, coatings, wraps, PPF, trim, plastics, leather and upholstery. Absolutely clean, Absolutely efficient, Absolutely Absolute."

This has absolutely been done before LOL.

The bullet points don't exactly scream anything new to me. Not unusual for a rinseless wash to reduce water use, have multiple uses or be polymer based. Some do or don't leave anything behind.

Exactly. Marketing phrases like "utilizing a unique subset of polymers" just sounds like a way to trick the mind into believing that when you use it, its doing something better than another comparable RW. But its probably not.

It'll be interesting to see if TRC will put this stuff on a higher pedestal than ONR.

Perhaps it will attract dust like no other if they got inspired by bead maker.

I've never used any products from P&S. I like they are made here in the US. Never tried BM or their Interior product. I've always heard good things about the brand though.

They have an off road product line which I was interested in at one time but have not tried it. Mud Buster is one of the products I was interested in. Seems a bit gimmicky though.

No kidding...

Substitute ONR everywhere they put Absolute and I swear it is the same advertising copy all over again

LOL so true.

Optimum guys are laughing. Been there done that 20 years ago. Thanks.

...so this product is very very similar to ONR in that it does encapsulate and drag dirt to bottom. I'm not sure what the differences are as the rep from P&S said it's ground up chemistry that is unlike anything on the market. But she didn't clarify. It looks awfully similar to ONR in its design though based on what I've seen so far.

Would not surprise me if TRC is moving away from Optimum for good.

Yeah although when I’ve talked to them they always seem to love Optimum products.

I had actually thought about taking along a half dozen plush washing towels and a half dozen plush drying towels and a quart of ONR and buying a 1 gallon bucket at Home Depot in Tacoma before heading out on our epic road trip but it just didn’t seem feasible because of needing to keep the towels cleaned and dried, filling up a wash bucket at a hotel, etc

I had to be content to find tunnel washes and wand washes along the way

The car is filthy now and there’s not much I can do because it’s been raining since we got back, we are staying at a friends condo on a dirt road, without even a hose or car port, etc etc etc

Even the really good wand wash I use during winter won’t touch 5,000 miles worth of road film and grunge from the Alcan Highway

After we leave this condo next month and get to the B&B for the next 7-9 months I will at least have access to a hose and stuff and will be able to do a deep cleaning and get some protection on before winter

I’m embarrassed to even post a picture of my car as it sits

The TRC hype boys at their best. By the way detailed image has 30% off P&S products at the moment if anyone is looking to pre-order this. I just did to test it on the channel to see if this thing is game changing. I highly doubt it.

But what if they are right??? :wowwow:

Just the thought of missing out on it will make us put a 6th different RW on our shelves!!

:laughing::laughing::laughing:

I'm wondering how Absolute differs to P&S's own Epic?
