hey guys so i am pritty new to using DA polishers....i got one in auto zone for about $150 made by shurhold...i actually didnt buy it for a car. i coat tables and other type of furniture with epoxy glaze (if you never seen it basically ever see a bar top that has a real real thick clear coat thats it) it takes along time to dry so dust settles on it so i used to wet sand 3000 grit then use meguiars ultra cut compound and the wax it back to glossy finish. always did it by hand and the stuff reacts just like car paint. so i got great results with the da polisher...since it worked so good i am planing on cleaning up a couple of cars with it problem is i went online to look up different types of pads and its a overload of information. some companies i came across are..buff and shine, lake county mfg., meguiars, surbuff, portor cable, and well many more for that matter...did a lil research and lake county always had good comments so then i came across all these different types of pads...flat pads, CCS pads, hydro tech foam pads, constant pressure hi gloss foam pads, waffle pro, wool pads....and that is just lake county mfg. then of coarse there are cutting, polishing and finishing though out wich that is like the only part i think i understand. if any one can help and point me in the right direction i would appreciate it whether its companies or info on different types of pads and how they work. ANYTHING would help as i said i am new to these machine's so any tips at all about pads or on just using them would help!
thanks ahead of time
