Summer is short lived, and we are on the spiral towards Fall. Kids in South Florida go back to school next week, and we once again will need to set forth on Fall detailing before the winter grows near and some up north put their babies to bed till Spring. What's you flavor this Fall ???

I have been using carnuabas on my Toyota 4Runner. I have been trying out a bunch. Pinnacle Sig Series, Megs 16, Nattys White. I am gonig to be on vacation in two weeks so I think I will be trying so Carnuaba Moose Wax.

As far as fall goes...I think I might be doing the DG 101 / 105 combo :)

Thanks to Big Al's recommendations.

I like topping a sealant off with a nuba no matter what time of year it is. I do look forward to a little cooler weather as far as detailing goes. Detailing cars during the fall, winter and spring months in south Florida is great.

i love detailing my trucks in the winter. its great!!!!!! 20 degrees out side my hose is frozen thers salt all over the roads. my hands are freezing as im washing. o its just great:(

Planning on the same deal later this fall: Klasse Twins, WDGPS, NR or XMT180.

the beaters will be going back to strictly sealants for the winter. The mustangs dont see any of the weather, so they will probably be same dgps topped by a 'nuba since i dont really have to worry about durability

still toppoing my sealant with a carnauba wax. This time I'm thinking of Souveran paste (currently have DP Surface shield topped with DP Max Wax).
Planning on stripping everything off in November, reseal with Klasse Twins (or maybe DG #105), and top it off with Meguiar's #16 (will see how long it will last).

this winter will be DG 501 as a base and 105 as a topper...or maybe even Track Claw after I finish a few tests on it...

Normally sealant only but jeweling Optimum wax with the PC after the Wolfgang bonds looks pretty fantastic.

Isn't the mention of "Fall" or "Winter" when combined with Florida just another way of saying "slighty less hot?"

It's nice not to freeze though and be able to keep the car clean year round. It will probably be cleaner after October because I will be able to go outside without melting.

:D

I need to move to Florida!

I'll be using a sealant topped with a nuba. Here's my plan of attack once the cold hits:

PB Professional Polish
DGPS
One of Collinite 845/476s

Combo will darn close to bulletproof lol

Mustang will get WGDGS x2 topped with Paste Glaz, Fusion will get WGDGSx2 topped with Souveran or MaxWax.

I've always been using carnauba, and I feel satisfied with them, but will be experiment with sealants sometime later. When it's winter time, I don't have to worry about snow or anything like that, cause it never snows down here :p. I sure do miss the snow though.
