Is it possible to lock these threads after a certain amount of time to prevent them from coming back over and over? I know people tend to post reviews of the giveaway products in them, but those could easily be put in the product review section.

Yes, it is, but most of the time those who have that ability forget or simply don't think to do so. I imagine they're pretty busy with more important things in the grand scheme of things
 
I always wonder how people even find these threads to dig up. And then don't pay attention to the date of the original post.

I'd be interested in testing products either for a coated car, or a car in need of decontamination, correction and repair.
