So I have been looking to move my shop due to growth for months now and have had several buildings lined up and something has always happened, this building had come along and we moved pretty quickly on it, We signed the lease last Tuesday and began some minor renovations. It is a total of 3600 S/f and will have 5 comfortable working areas in the actual shop, and a designated area just for paint correction, a break room, an enclosure to house the 60 gal compressor, employee and customer bath, waiting room, office and a large office that I will turn into a display room. Here are some before pix and a few during, I will post more as work is done, it should be up and running by Friday

Cool! Show some pictures after everything is done.

Looking good!
You will really appreciate the white walls, lots of electrical outlets and lots of lighting.

What do you plan to do about a wash bay?
I didn't see any floor drainage. Maybe I just missed it.

We are putting in a grate that runs across the width of the shop, but due to cost it is 30 days away, I will using the squegee drain method until then

Wow, congrats! Take some more pictures and post them up once the new shop is up and running.

Hope to see lots of turnarounds! Looks like it's gonna be a highly proffesional operation.

Congratulations, what I would give to be able to get my own place to detail, I hope it works out for you, man im jealous.

Man Clay, Moving right up there aren't you...congradulations, the place looks like it has allot of potential........I can just imagine seeing out in the front above the door a huge IMAGE DETAILING logo..........Is the new place just off Hurstbourne? that area looks kinda familar......I use to live in Hurstbourne.............Hey, dont forget about us little guys......lol........congradulations and well deserved.....

Looks good man and congratulations! I, too, cannot wait to see her finshed.

I have not see a heater, like the one hanging from the ceiling by bay door, since I left Georgia 7 years ago. Those heaters really put some heat out!

We only need to worry about AC now LOL

Congrats on the move man. That has to be really exciting moving into a new place! Can't wait to see the finished results!

Wow that's really nice. Looks like it'll be a great place to work. :buffing:

Congrats on taking such a big step. Your work certainly shows your ready to take the plunge and I for one, wish you much success. Good luck.

It certainly beats the 1000s/f I have been renting from the tuner shop for the past 2 years

Well the shop is about 80% finished, I ran out of money that my wife said I could spend so I had to Hustle some together for a few more things, which I did most of today. I will be putting in the new Water heater and utility sink on Monday, and in 2-3 weeks a trench drain will be installed, a week after that I will pull everything to oneside and do the floor in texterued grey, and then finish that up. After that stuff is complete I will finish up the office areas and try to set up a lobby that people will want to wait around in all day to have there car detailed
