So, gots my new Jeep Commander and it is a lease, so I gotta be more careful than I usually am because it has a mix of leather and fabric interior, and the only thing I don't like is that it is friggin' a light creme, yuck. I wish is would of had the saddlebrown leather option.
Anyway, I carry lots of music gear and the cargo area is light beige/creme carpet/fabric, so...Of course I will use a tarp or blanket. But, what can I sue to help prtotect it? Isn't there a Scotchguard or some sort of spray I can shoot everywhere, even on leather, that will help protect it from spills and such? Be specific please.
Of course here, but man a brand new ride and the outside is so bad! I took not eof little things at the dealer and pointed out swirilies, blemishes and whatnot, they kinda looked at me crazy then I told them, hey, I detail as a hobby and how I do cars woudl run $300 compared to the local detailer's $75 jobber! "Oh" was their reply:D

Please remember that what is recommended to be used on leather is not recommended to be used on fabric.
For fabric I would stick with 303 - cleaner http://autogeek.net/303552.html, and protector - http://autogeek.net/303fabricguard.html
As for leather since vehicle is still new, and you probably want to keep that new smell, instead of having a car smelling like fruit salad, stick with Pinnacle or Wolfgang leather conditioners.

By the way, I wanna see some pictures of your new sweet ride.

1st you have to pop its cherry, offroading is a must on a new suv, gotta break her in like a gir.........:D

I wanna see pics of that puppy covered in mud!!!

Alright, I'll see if I can find some thsi weekend.
Man, just prepped the exterior, I can't believe how bad it was! Wash, clay and the clay sounded like sandpaper on the hood! Another good wash, Wolfgang Glaze, Wolfgang sealer everywhere. Shines real purty. I'll do antoher coat in a few days, and then top with SOuveran before cold weather sets in!
