New Tires and Dressing

So just put new tires on the Taurus, Goodyear Assurance Comfortread. I cleaned them with 3 applications of mothers tire renew and a final water rinse. I then applied 3 applications of Opti-bond.

I expected the first application to absorb in the tire. After the third app the tires are still blotchy. Will they start taking even dressing applications after a few weeks with use and washings?

In a few weeks I will be coating them, I just want to make sure all the oils are out before coating to prevent any bonding issues.

I had an issue when I put my new tires on. I cleaned them really well so I thought and put on a tire coating and it didn't hold. The tires were blotchy. I cleaned them some more and just put a tire gel and little by little the tires broke themselves in after a few weeks. Now they take anything.

I just got some new shoes for the wife's car. I tried the new Blackfire All-In-One Tire and Trim Protectant and was really surprised at the results.
