Bought a bunch of stuff about a month ago to detail my truck. Being that it was in pretty good condition and with some advice from a tundra forum member, I just used some Klasse AIO (w/ 7424xp) and HGSG. Now I'm planning on doing my dads red 99 Porsche Boxster next weekend.

My dad had a friend of his with a body shop paint the rear bumper and a few parts of the car that had the clear coat bubbling. His friend ended up re-painting the rear end of the car. The front end of the car has the original paint though and you can see tons of swirls on the hood. Is there a product I can use on the front end of the car to take care of the swirls (like Swirl X), and then use the Klasse twins on the whole car? Or will I be better off just getting completely different products for his car?

If he has enough clear coat ( that could be checked with a paint gauge ) then a good compound would help you getting rid of those swirls...
After that you should use Finishing polish to make the car shine...

after polishing a car you will strip all the wax and protection that the car had, meaning you have to rewax it...

Best protection and shine, Sealant then Wax

I recommend using :
Compound - Meguiars 101 or 105
Finshing - Menzerna 4500 ( or 4000 for a little cutting power ).
Sealant - Wolfgang Deep Gloss paint Sealant 3.0
Wax - Any paste wax you like, I recommend Collinite Marque D’Elegance Carnauba Paste Wax #915, car wax, paste auto wax
Or Fuzion Paste Wax ( Great shine, But it's expensive )

Good Luck

It's hard to say what will work until you do a test spot. Perhaps Meguiar's M205 will provide all the cut you need if the paint is soft like most Porsche's. "Use the least aggressive product to get the job done."
