Hey there guys! I am so glad to be apart of the auto geek world. I have rescently started up auto detailing. It doesnt seem there are a whole lot of independant detailers in my area(denver metro area). Right now just because i dont know a whole lot, i am not charging the money that i would hope to be charging say in the next year or so. I am slowly gathering products to where i can do more. My tight budget with my part time job at a dog kennel isnt allowing me to get everything at once. But i guess thats ok. If anyone has anthing your willing to give away that still works great let me know. My items of need right now- compact carpet shampooer/ and a buffer. I am waxing by hand as of right now. Would love suggestions and encouragement. I need all i can get :) thanks guys!

Hey mrwood, welcome to AGO and welcome to the detailing world. I wish you the best of luck in starting your detailing venture.

im not sure what made you choose this business, but i'll start off by asking you 2 things. do you want your detailing biz to be your primary source of income, now and in the future? and, what makes you want to be in this business?

Welcome to Autogeek Online! :welcome:

Lots of great forum members here to help bring you up to speed...

Just a tip... introduce yourself here and post questions to one of the other forum groups with a "Subject" like that lets people know what your topics are.

Questions posted in "intro threads" don't get the traction they would if they were posted in a topical forum group for the topic at hand.

A tip to help yourself get great answers when you start a thread

Welcome from Memphis. Good luck on your new business venture

hey there. with where i am in life right now...it will be an added income. The reason why i decided to start this is a couple of reasons. 1. i love working with my hands; i am definitly a car guy; i enjoy seeing a completed project. 2. right now, this is the the open door that God has for me. So im taking a step of faith and see where it goes from here. Thank you!

Good luck bro. read a lot on ag and realize your going to spend money starting up a detail business. You can do bare bones on some stuff but always buy the best cause if you don't you'll end up buying something cheap and wasting your money cause you'll need a better product/tool.
