Well, after being a one DD vehicle family (with one Garage Queen tucked away for the winter), I finally pulled the trigger on a vehicle I've wanted since it's release and I rented one whilst on vaca in Arizona last summer.
The deal was too good, (at nearly $7100 off the MSRP), I snagged the last new 2016 on the lot Mustang ECO-Boost Premium with Pony Package last night. Yeah, perfect for New England weather... ;-) Took it home during a snow storm.
I normally wouldn't go for Silver, but I really like the metal-flake Ignot Silver on this car, and for nearly $6K less than it's Ruby Red equivalent on the lot, I can like silver! Keep in mind I already have a Torch-Red Convertible Mustang GT Premium as the Garage Queen...
Surprisingly for the car sitting so long on the dealer lot, the paint is fantastic shape. I see no swirls, squirrels or scratches. However, I'm chomping at the bit to detail it!!! My plans is to let Interior Gal have at it on the interior, whilst I do a thorough Wheels, wheel-wells, engine, Wash, Iron-X, Wash #2, Clay, dry, a nice polish with BOSS & Rupes MKII and some Pinnacle Advanced Polish and a nice coat of CQUK, coat the wheels & tires and all plastics with DLUX.
Sadly I have to wait until probably late March.
