I found that there is yet another way to use the smaller pads on the fourth rotation the keto machine you can get the adapter they sell that you can use on your two action machines and then be able to use rotary backing plates so I guess it would be the dual action to rotary adapters. He doesn’t screw all the way down through all the threads but definitely a no threats to hold it in place securely.

That looks like an accident waiting to happen IMO.

Yikes.

Lol, it’s probably not government approved but I’ve used it with no issues and I first started by using low speeds low pressure and worked my way up to speed 3 and a half with good pressure. I was checking every 30 seconds or so to make sure the adapter wasn’t unscrewing at all or being bent. So try at your own risk of course but hell...works for me. Roll the dice!!’

May God be with you............ Lol

I've used the Griots HD 3IN plate allotment
Also used a modified 75e plate
Kamikaze 3in duetto plate works
I also have a rotary to DA adapter. It never tried it on the makita as I'm willing to Bet vibration sucks

I prefer to use stock makita. Hardwhere vs male studded plated.
The rotary to DA adapter will work on any DA, used it on a 3in mini to get 2 and 1in pads
