So I had never heard of this product until a few weeks ago when a buddy of mine said he just coated his new car with a nano coating. I thought cool and assumed it was one of the coatings I knew of like cquartz.
When I asked he told me it was something called nano-clear. I never heard of it so I decided to check it out. Apparently it's the first wipe on coating to exceed oem specs. Pretty bold claim for a wipe on product, but it had tests comparing it to ppg ceramiclear. I looked into this stuff for awhile and read all of the tests and studies. The wheel coating test was done by american racing wheels. The results were pretty impressive.
After calling them up and talking to them for awhile I decided to bite the bullet and order some to guinea pig on my boat. It wasn't cheap but it does come with a 5 year warranty.
Anyone have any knowledge of this product? The inventor of it has been working on it for 10 years. He seems legitimate. He spent years developing dental coatings and things like that before starting this company.
I'll update with a new thread once I receive the product and have applied it to my boat.
