I have a PC coming. I need some help on deciding what products to use.

I have it narrowed down to 4 choices:
Megs 105/205
Wolfgang twins
Adam's Kit (honestly proably least likely to buy)
Pinnacle twins

I have a pearl white subaru impreza.

Which combo is the most newb friendly?

Do I need another polish to follow the megs? (some people seem to think so)

CCS pads colors to buy? (will wax by hand)

How many pads to buy to do my car?

Thanks for your help.

IMHO The Wolfgang Combo is the choice, very user friendly with great results.

I would get the Hydro Tech pads over the CCS 5'5"Lake Country Hydro-Tech 5.5 x 1.25 Inch Foam Pads, hydrotech foam buffing pads, dual action foam pads and don't forget to buy a 5" backing plate. lake country 5 inch backing plate, 5 inch backin plate, 5 inch hook and loop backing plate I'd get 3 cyan and 3 Tangerine pads. I think if you are new to a polisher you would need the 3rd step with the 105/205 combo...I do.

What do you like as a third step for the megs?

I'm not sure what 3rd step he is talking about but M205 should finish down without needing to add another step other then a wax or sealant.

I don't seem to have the technique yet so I finish them off with Menzerna PO85RD. I have pretty good luck when I use HT pads but still get some random holograms and use the 085 to clean them up. Again I don't use them every day and when I do polish I usually choose the WG Twins and never have a problem with them.
