Hello everyone.

Found this site when I was looking to stock up on supplies as its been about 10 years since I use to detail and my old stock didnt make the cut. I wish I could order from AG but I think the duty would kill me so its eshine and wisdom in the GTA for me.
The wealth of knowledge here is amazing as the products are so different now so I thank Mike and all the posters here for re-educating me. I am/will be detailing part time as I have a passion for it.

Any help and tips you could give me would be amazing.

I am a few hours east on the 401 (Kingston).

I ordered some supplies from eshine.ca recently and was pleased. Not sure if you have dealt with them before. Shipping and customer service was good. They did short change me a CCS pad but were quick to send me out another one the next day after I pointed it out to them so cannot complain there. They did maintain contact with me regarding delays on the shipping of specific items. Overall, quite pleased.

Selection of products on AG is awesome though ! :awesome:
 
Oh....and duty / taxes ?

I believe NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) comes into play here if the item was manufactured in the USA or Mexico - so no duty fees. Taxes you will not get away from and brokerage fees can be a killer too !! It would be much easier if you lived closer to the USA / CAN border (such as myself). Our dollar is not very strong these days either ($0.91 US)

Surprising that a lot of people are not aware of the NAFTA fact.

:offtopic:As a side note - same as motorcycle parts imported from the USA - there is no duty on motorcycle parts - just applicable taxes according to the province you live in.

Just some FYI to help out our Canadian members.
