Hello all... I'm a 31 old woman from UK and noticed that I actually enjoyed cleaning my car and my interest in car detailing started growing hence I joined AGO. However, I used to wash my car the wrong way, you know.. 1 bucket, the automatic car washes, washing it once every few months, let bird droppings sit till the next was, etc.... bad bad bad 
I'm totally nuts about VW Bora's, not quite sure why but for some reason this car draws my attention every time I see it on the streets.
The more I read about car care, the more I realised how wrong I was doing things. I now use a 2-bucket system, bought a Karcher K4 this week, stay away from the cheap hand and auto car washes and try to increase my knowledge on how to do it right. I even endeavor to one day properly polish my car to decrease the swirls.
My neighbours must think I'm nuts. No one else in my street washes their cars as often as I do.. and I don't even do it as often as I want to. 1x per 2-4 weeks at the moment. Now it's getting colder I probably will do it less.
I look forward to participating in this forum and learn as much as I can .. and hopefully one day be able to share my own experiences.
