Hey Newbie here, I have a Black Vette.. What can you tell me about the Porter cable 7424. I am thinking about buying one, what pads do i need, can I use any wax or polish with it? Thanks for your help.... Hams

look to the kits for best value. You have a choice between several ROB's (Random Orbitals) including the PC, UDM, or even Megs G110. Pads come in two flavors at AG, you have Lake Country (Wolfgang) and the Edge system. Size will usually dicate your choice and smaller pads are easier to use. You can polish, wax, and removal as wanted and each pad has a place. When in doubt call in your order and Dwayne, Jason, and / or Meghan will help !

You may want to look into the flex...the only reason I say is b/c the clear on vettes can be pretty hard and you could start with the orbital mode and switch to rotary as you get better with it...saves you buying one down the line, whcih is probably what you;ll end up doing with that car. Just my $0.02
