Looks like Hulk Hogans son, Nick really messed up this time and from what CNN was saying he and one other had to be cut out of this wreck with the JAWS of life. I hope that both Nick and his passenger recover but, I really think this kid needs to stop driving he is a hazard.

the site says it was an SUV, but that really looks like supra headlights, and I know he had a supra on ths show.

Hopefully an AG member from around that area will post soon with more details.

Here is a picture of a Lambo that he was driving that somehow caught on fire.
I bet with a little XMT360 you could get it looking like new!!!

that paint is so oxidized :p.

Man I hope him and the passenger are ok. Poor Supra though :(

That happened last night near my brothers house.......one driver in critical condition and the other in serious condition from what I've heard, both had to be extricated with the jaws of life. The car hit a curb and hit a pole backwards at a VERY high rate of speed.

There's a lot spoiled kids who never had to work for anything, are reckless and don't appreciate what they have.

This is true, thought hope they are still ok.

this is what yahoo has reported as of the AM:

Bollea and an unidentified male passenger were extricated from the car by paramedics, Shelor said. Then they were airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. Their official conditions were not immediately available, but Shelor described the injuries of both men as serious.

there are alot of people who are wreckless period. Lots of people regardless of age or how much they have personaly spent on an item that are wreckless.... everyday there are acidnts like that from all ages, genders, races, and walks of life.. its sad but TONS of people are careless behind the wheel

When I read thread title my first thought was "Supra". As a Supra owner myself I used to visit SupraForums so from there I know Nick had (at least) one (I say at least because I thought that he used to have older style one when I was still regular).

Still, when I looked at first posted picture I could not recognize what car it is, much less is it a Supra, all I could recognize is obliterated sheet metal. That was one horrible crash. I think they can consider themselves lucky just to still be alive.

As I am reading description of what happened my thoughts are along the lines of sudden traction loss on rear tires, either due to too much torque too fast, or something similar.

He was racing his car and lose control. The other car got away and the police are still seaching for it. A friend who know his dad (terry) say's that he almost had a breakdown (thinking of losing his boy) and nick is out of the hospital now. The Hogan name is the stage name he use's and the rest of the family use's also. Hope nick learns his lesson and grows fast, and hope this stop the dumb street racing in clearwater.

That's true but this is a case of a spoiled kid who never had to work for the Lambo and who was reckless and could have killed his friend and himself. I'm glad he is ok and I hope his friend pulls through. If he had to work hard to buy an expensive car for himself he might not have been so reckless. Most people who have to work hard for something appreciate it more and take better care of it. As far as being reckless sometimes it takes a tragedy for some people to wake up.

I dont look at it completely as Gary does, some of us where born with speed and cars in our blood. I still get goosepimples looking and touching high dollar exotics and 60's muscle cars. That said, you must also control yourself, value your passengers, and realize you are NEVER completely in control. I am sure he was horsing around, but it could be something a simple as a Firestone tire blowing (not like that never happened before). I truly hope for the best, and I hope he learned from this and hasnt harmed his passenger for life.
