I shot McKee's 37's customer service folks an e-mail concerning a problem that I caused while using one of their products. The problem was completely my issue, and I was only looking for a solution I could implement.

Nick responded early this morning saying he would take care of the problem. He didn't have to do that - I was willing to take responsibility to resolve it on my own.

Look, in the course of running a business, what he's doing isn't earth shattering. But he didn't have to help, and I made it clear he didn't have to. but he still is anyway. And THAT, to me, is the right way to run a business.

As I've gone further and further down the rabbit hole of the world of detailing, I have used McKee's products as a starting point, with the belief that if one didn't perform as I hoped, I would try something different. This experience makes me more certain that my faith is well placed.

Thanks Nick!

Thank you for posting about a positive experience. People are always quick to post about negative stuff, but no so quick to comment on the good. It's always nice to hear the positive comments though.

Thats great to hear. I model how I conduct my business after M37 and PBMG. You are absolutely right about how it should be done to maintain a very high business profile.

Completly agree with this!

Nice post mk9750!

Nick is a good guy. I've been extremely happy with the way all McKee's products work.

You are definitely right, that's the way a business should be run, go above and beyond. I know that's the way I always ran mine and was extremely successful. One of the biggest reasons I buy 90%+ of my products from AG, Autopia, and McKee's is because they run their business like I ran mine and unfortunately there are fewer and fewer companies out there who even know what customer service is.

•IMO:
-Nick “doing solids” is not a new phenomenon:
-that has always been his normal mode of oper-
ation—i.e...Nick is a solid citizen.

•And, if I may:
-I’ll be bold and suggest that he is:

Great thread. Nick has helped me in the past. Awesome dude!

Always good to hear positive things about a company. Keep up the good work Nick!

There might not be a classier organization than McKee's 37.

I haven't used their products yet, but I love anything Bob McKee does!

WHAT?? Lol

Order a few and prepare to be amazed, Dan. :xyxthumbs:

Nick has always done me right. Starting from back in the day he was with AG. Bob is extremely lucky to have a great individual like Nick.

I'll echo the sentiments above and having met nick, he's just a stand up guy. I have a vast array of McKee's 37 products and as some of my other products run out I'll be replacing them with more McKee's 37.

Nick is one of the most honest and hard working guys out there. He's always going above and beyond to help people out weather it's his issue or not. I have and will continue to do a great deal of business with him and Mckees.

Same story with me. He gave me a really good lasting impression of McKee's, and I will continue to choose their products over other brands when there is an apples to apples choice. Nick definitely gets it.

So - today I got the package Nick was kind enough to send. At the risk of setting unreasonable expectations for others who deal with Nick and McKee's, let's say I was willing to pay to replace something worth a couple bucks. Nick not only offered to send it to me for free (and pay the shipping), but sent me three of them, and a valuable substitute for what I requested, AND basically replaced the product in question, even though there's no reason to believe was a problem.

So, as much as I sung Nick's praises after our correspondence, now that he came through well beyond any expectation I could have, I am speechless. All I can say is THANK YOU!

Awesome to hear. That's how you make life-long customers.

If you skimp on Customer Service, you leave a sour taste and soon won't have ANY customers.
