Hi everyone. I spent today detailing a Ninja 300 and testing out some HD Nitro Seal that I recently got my hands on. Nitro Seal is very unique 2 step paint sealant. It comes with two bottles of product marked one marked A and the other marked B. Product A must be applied first followed by product B to activate the bonding process. Makes me think of using a 2 part epoxy.
After a quick rinseless wash, I inspected the painted areas for defects. Nothing too serious other than some light scratches and a few little rids here and there.

I polished the painted areas with my PE8. I used 3D's new AAT polishes to correct and refine the finish to about 90% defect removal. Some of the scratches were a little too deep for me to be able to correct but it was still a huge improvement.

I then got to applying the Nitro Seal. I threw on the provided gloves and got to work with bottle A and the provided black applicator. This first step goes on very wet, almost like a paint coating. Like the directions said, a little bit of product goes a very long way.

I then applied product B. This product was more pasty like a sealant in consistency. Both product A and B go on easy. I will admit that the applicators did feel a bit clumsy in some of the tighter spaces.

After about an hour I wiped off the Nitro Seal. This stuff was a breeze to wipe.

The lights and other plastics were also coated.

Nitro Seal was definitely not what I'm used to when applying an LSP but it was not difficult to use by any means. The bike looked great and it should stay looking good for some time. I might have to test this stuff out on one of my cars and do a little durability testing.

Well that's all I got. Thanks for reading!
