Well actually I have a garage, but it is too small to work in, hah!

I have the porter and wolfgang TSR 3.0 , but outside (out of direct sun!) they don't work well. The swirl remover seems to work fine, but the polisher dries out too quickly to do its job and I'm left with a lot of "holograms".

What would be the best option to be able to work outside in non-direct sun in warm temperatures (i.e. ~75F). As I understand it Pinnacle XMT is designed to work in those conditions, but are there any others?

Poor Boys products are designed for use in full sun. I tested some of them this summer in direct mid day Florida sun on a dark vehicle and they passed with flying colors. Note: the surface of the vehicle was hot when I used them too.

The Optimum polishes seem to have almost unlimited work time, either the crème style or the Hyper sprays.

What pads are you using? What speed, and how much product are you using? TSR is a pretty good and forgiving product.

Start your detail early and invest in a cheap ez up. Work a smaller area and clean the pad using the "on the fly" method often. Others might disagree but if you are getting holograms using a PC and TSR on anything less then an orange pad chances are you will get holograms with most other products.

You can try megs UP as it has a long working time.

I'm using Lake Country Orange CCS + TSR 3.0 @ 5 followed by the White CCS + Glaze @ 4. I've been bad with overusing product so I've been first misting a pad conditioner and then using the "four dot" method with dime-penny size dots instead of the X method.

I think I will look in to the EZ Up as if nothing else it will make doing the work more pleasant! The results with Wolfgang where I've been able to work from the garage are gorgeous and have brought new life to my 11 yo truck.
