Has anyone on AG experienced or used the Nomad Pressure Washer. I heard about it on another forum, eveyone there was buying them. I have one and was just wondering what the Auto Geekers thought about it. It is actually a nice piece of equipment for mobile or fixed location detailing!

I have 1 and I like it a lot. I use on tires fenderwells on work truck works awesome.

It looks like a really nice tool for detailing in the winter especially. Fill it up with warm water, and get some of the lovely Upstate NY salt off of our cars...

What type of pressure does the Nomad put out ? In the winter when I have put up the hose to keep from freezing , I have a large garden sprayer that I fill with hot water and it works ok .Not a lot of pressure though.

Here's a little trick get transmissiom mount on male of a garden hose and run window washer cleaner through it and the hose before use the next time just flush it out . Been doing for years on truck pressure washer it gets a liilte cold in New England. I've only had it freeze once it was 5 below with wind chill it wasn't frozen just slushy really:props:

It has some very good pressure for what it is. Works very well my work truck sees a lot of mud sand and other nasty stuff. I can rinse most of my tires and fenderwells with one fill-up.

Just ordered one from Sportsmansguide.com for $35 (inc s/h).

Looks like the one SG is selling may be an earlier version. Anyone have experience with this unit?

No the one SG is selling is the fully portable unit . The one you just purchased is the discontinued unit . That is why it is 35 bucks. It is the one that I have I just modified a Ryobi 18 volt battery with a cigarette lighter adapter to make mine fully portable . It works great .
