The good news...as you said, "you woke up this morning!
 
That's terrible! What a thing to wake up to. A number of years ago we had a tree fall and land on our car. The tree, like the one in your pictures, belonged to the city/county, it was their insurance that covered the damages. It was taken care of pretty quickly. Hopefully things will go well for you too. Sure glad no one got hurt!!!
 
where did the window come from that is in the tree??????? sorry to see all the damage to your garage and vehicles.

WOW, that's not something I'd want to wake up to. i think the garage is a loss and hopefully the car's aren't damaged too much...

Take one thing at a time and I hope no bodily injuries occurred..
 
Wow that's awful. Sorry to see that damage. I'm assuming no one was hurt?

Hopefully not too much damage to the cars. That's got to be tough to wake up to.
 
That is insane, thank goodness it wasn't your house! I know it stinks replacing all of that , but at least no one was hurt. Very sorry.
 
Not what anyone wants to see. My thoughts go out to all those impacted by the devastating weather in the S.E.

I'd be at little upset about loosing such a nice big old tree too. I had one in my yard that was 100+ years old and I lost it the first year I owned the house. :(

Looks like a basketball hoop if I'm thinking of the same thing you are.

Glad to hear you're okay. Hope it gets taken care of quickly and you don't get much more bad weather anytime soon.

I'm a glass half full kind of guy....

You get to build a new garage and can hopefully make it bigger and better for detailing in! Hmm....finished interior, lots of storage, tons of lights, epoxy floor,..........

It WAS a basketball hoop.
The garage was only 2 1/2 years old.
The got the Equinox less than 1 year ago.
I feel like I have been kicked in the gut, repeatedly.

Let's hope your insurance company is quick to get you covered! Out two cars and a demolished garage is not going to be any fun at all for you!

I was going to say, it makes me sick even looking at it, can't imagine if it was my house.
