Hi all, I did this Chrysler 300C a few weeks ago. It was fairly clean but had wash induced swirls everywhere. I did not take any pictures of it before starting the wash process. It was especially bad on the body panels after the front and rear wheels. I really liked the metallic effect in the paint and I tried to capture it in the pictures. It was overcast when I completed the detail but I was able to get some pictures the following day. All comments and questions are welcomed!

Wheels & tires: CG diablo, CG all clean + citrus APC, AF tire shine, Wheel woolie, tuf shine and daytona brushes

Wash: CG citrus wash, Duragloss wash mitt

Decon: Nanoskin medium towel, iron-x

Correction: Meg's 205 & UP, Menzerna PF2500, LC orange & white pads, BD orange pads

LSP: Ultima UPGP

Paint condition after wash, iron-x and nanoskin

Some 50/50's

Results after polishing

After LSP

You gave this paint much more than it deserves, looks very nice considering this is Chrysler. 10 out of 10.
My friend has exactly the same car only white pearl metallic (I don't believe I just said it white pearl metallic), after 10,000km it looks like a garbage bin, last week he told me that he changes it to the new model. He uses it like a draft horse ( his business is selling stolen motor oil & oil/petrol/diesel etc. additives ) & asks me each time to "detail" it, each time I say: there is no need yet, it looks like new & he believes me :iagree:
Interesting thing is that other guy I know is a chauffeur to a ceo & founder of biggest accounting company in Israel & yes he drives his boss with black Chrysler 300C. He too asks for detailing, somehow I succeed to say that it looks like new :wow:
Some people wrongly or rightly think that Chrysler 300C is an executive car, I made rides with it, interior smells like a 1 star hostel, everything looks fake & cheap, once white Chrysler guy drove in some water spot that was not very deep, car simply stopped working, he asked the insurance for total loss & full refund, but they only replaced the engine. 1Y ago he had the same 300C after some small accident on the highway, it was indeed total loss this is how he got this new one. I told him you are crazy why you buy same thing again that in 1Y had 2 total losses...well I stop here. Above is not a Chrysler advertisement in no way .
That's why you made impossible & fantastic work by making something out of nothing.

Thanks for the comments! I did not do the interior but from the quick glance that I took inside it did not seem that bad.

Only we speak about it & he arrived yesterday to book in for detailing, I don't say him what I think about his boss' taste in cars, I touch the paint, sit inside, make pics & my final verdict is:
Look, besides the scratches that are very good actually because your boss probably doesn't like to show off how rich he is...
Yes, you are right Marc, he is like that...
So, if you want to pay for something that there is no need, it's OK, I'll do it, but because you are my "friend" you make me feel like I steal your money, because car looks like new etc.
So he is confused because he don't wants to pay for something if there is no need for it & he leaves, says his boss thinks about buying new Mercedes S 500.
I say-you see, so I detail 300C & soon for sure he will buy the new car...
I never make people feel bad about their plastic cars & fork metal engines, I say: It looks like new

How would you say the paint hardness is? I have a detail on a newer 300 and want to make sure I go at it with the right products.

My 2012 cleans up nicely with Menz 2500 so you should not have too many issues.

I have PF2500 and SF4500, so I should be set. Top it with Sonax PNS after an IPA wipe down... should be set.

Love the John Varvatos 300, OP.

I would say about medium. Menzerna PF2500 with the LC orange pad gave me the best results on this 300. I do not remember what year it is...I think it is a 2013.

Noslef, you got lucky, mine is a 2012 and even a blue pad left haze with 2500 :-) I did a 2012 jeep and ended up hazing it with blue as well.
