Had this cool SHO Taurus in for some correction work after his buddies kept hounding him to come to me. He is a cool older gentleman loves to bring this and his bullet mustang to shows. Overall it is well kept but definitely not up to my standards!

Correction:

Sides- one step with Menzerna pf2500, BOSS microfiber cutting pad, G21. Adams swirl killer mini, Meguiars 3in microfiber cutting pad.

Hood/trunk/bumpers- 2step correction. M100 BOSS microfiber cutting pad. M205 Rupes yellow pad.

LSP- IGL Premier

Wheels/Tires- Mckees foaming wheel cleaner gel, lata, Hydro Blue, hyper dressing

Trim- Mckees plastic trim restorer

Before

After Menzerna pf2500

Awesome work. Such a cool car, too bad it hasn't been updated lately.

Awesome job!!

I noticed that you used different products on different areas during the correction step. Did you do a test spot for each product on each section or do you just have enough experience with different paints to know what works the best? Your work is always stunning and I have my handy dandy notebook out! Lol

Thanks bud. This one took a bit of time to dial in a one step that gave me the results I was looking for. As such multiple test spots were done. Probably took about 30-45 min to dial one in but the time the time was made up on the back end. The hood trunk had some deeper defects that couldn't be addressed without a heavier compound. And M100 almost finished out LSP ready but did leave a little haze. So m205 was needed to gloss it back up.

Menzerna pf2500 is a product that doesn't get enough credit. It absolutely nailed this paint in one step with awesome gloss as you can see.

Looks like it's been updated with those fake BBK caliper covers though, LOL. Not sure why people don't just paint their stock calipers with caliper paint, your not foolin' anyone with large, flat pieces of tin or whatever it's made of, fake rivets and still be able to see the original caliper under there. This has to be the biggest rice item on the market, blowing past fart cans on 80 hp Honda's!

Btw, the paint looks great, especially in that one pic where you see 3 or 4 sun reflections

Beautiful color and you did a great job.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't secretly hoping to see one of the original SHO's from '89 ~ '90-something. Still blown away Ford sold those things with a manual

Great work, I really like those cars. They are almost everywhere in Michigan.

Thanks gents! Owner picked up this morning and him and his wife were thrilled. I have to say that I kind of was wanting one lol! But I want every cool car after I'm done working on it.

Looks great! Nicely done. I had a 2010 Fusion Sport in that color and loved it. Not sure what an S4 would be like in that color but I bet I'd love it!

You really made it POP!

Thanks bud. I really liked how this one came out. Even had me looking on auto trader for one!!! Haha.

Heard the SHO and the taurus will be dropped soon but it has so much potential. The seats are too big and thick and the car is too heavy.

The shower should drop the awd and go for broke with red with trac-loc

Nice Justin. :props:

I must admit, I have never seen one of these before but it looks pretty cool. Stunning colour & man - you certainly have it looking proper.

Beautiful workmanship Justin, thank you for sharing.

Absolutely beautiful work, Justin. And, as others have said...striking color!
