Been a long since I have posted any projects and details, since the weather is what it is, now is a good time to reflect back on some details that I did before winter.
This is one special Truck, Chevy 454 Shortbed Race Truck. I dont remember the specs on this bad boy, owner told me all the modifications .....lets put it this way.....it takes some skills to keep this on the road........

Proccess and Equipment used:

Makita 9227
Pads used : Surbuf, Optimum Microfiber pads, LC Gray finish Pads
Menzerna Power Finish, followed by 85rd
Tires: Opti-Bond
Chrome: Mothers Chrome Polish
Glass: Sprayway
LSP : Menzerna Power Lock
Wax: Dodo Juice- Diamond White
Interior: Prima

Wow! One heck of a sleeper by changing out the rear tires and removing those "454SS" labels.....NICE!

I remember drooling over those trucks when I was a kid. Great work removing the drag strip off the rear of the bed. Those wheels really cleaned up too. And that interior really pops in the sun. I hear you on white. So many people say white is easy. I find itbmuch work as black, and it is way more strain on the eyes.
Glossiest drag tires I've ever seen. ;)

The products used are listed at the top of the posting, although I did not list every product used (overkill) But I am big on Opti-Bond on tires, Megs APC,Ultima Trim, Dodo Juice Wax, Menzerna Polishes, Surbuf Pads and LC Pads

How dose that big block sound cam wise... mild or full thump?
 
It has a full thump sound, when reving it up you can feel it in your chest.......I person really needs some descent driving skills when tearing into this Truck........its wicked fast.
