Notifications...what's happening?!

So I've been exchanging PM's with Big Dave and he commented how he's getting ZERO notifications on anything, posts or PM's. You have to purposely go in and check, so what's going on here

Now I'll have to search this out to see who responds with a comment, this should be fun

I’m in same camp but it’s a TapaTalk issue. The have an actual TapaTalk forum and it seems to be a big issues. No updates in weeks

Yeah, as mentioned, it's very annoying. I was thinking of going VIP or Pro, whatever they call it, so I could post bigger pictures. But if this there idea of support, I don't think so.

I have mentioned this before between us, but yes I have the same issue. I once got email notification for every post/thread I was subscribed to, same for PM's. This has been absent for a few months now and is primarily why it can take time for me to respond to PM's.

I don't use TapaTalk either.

I haven't received a TT notification since June 1st.

You might be right, Roger. No AG employee chimes in on anything anymore.

I think this is probably the right answer. It's probably a TapaTalk app issue and nothing to do with AG or vBulletin it runs on. When viewing the site from a PC, my primary viewing platform, I still get all of my notifications and everything seems to be working just fine.

It's not just a TapaTalk issue, as I don't use it and don't get emails anymore to replies either...

It seems like AGO is just twisting in the wind (leadership-wise) since Mike left a year ago. No authoritative presence whatsoever. No voice from the company.

Pretty sad.

That said, it really shows the class of the members of AGO to basically police themselves and keep everything civil and running smoothly.

But the lack of attention is troubling. Maybe even ominous?
 
Yeah we all need to get Facebook and start a group. Or maybe if someone who did use to run a forum start their own and we could join there. Just would need to be on TT.
