Dark paint demands special care. Ask any detailer! Black, blue, and other dark paints have the greatest potential for depth and gloss. Dodo Juice Purple Haze Soft Wax is designed to help your dark vehicle reach its full potential.

Dodo Juice Purple Haze PRO Soft Wax’s primary ingredient is carnauba wax, the world’s best protective natural wax. Only No. 1 grade Brazilian carnauba makes the cut for Dodo Juice waxes. Next dark beeswax and montan wax were added to enhance dark paint colors. Montan wax is a dark-colored wax extracted from coal that improves water repellency and gloss. It’s found in only a few locations in the world and, fortunately, Dodo Juice located some for their Purple Haze PRO Soft Wax.

What's the difference between Purple Haze, and Purple Haze Pro?

What's the difference between Purple Haze, and Purple Haze Pro?

This is taken from DODO's forums:

We are making ‘Pro’ versions of Blue Velvet and Purple Haze, our two most popular main range waxes. We felt that the range needed a stepping stone to Supernatural, and with the addition of additional carnauba and the sealant ingredient found in Red Mist, these ‘supercharged’ main range waxes should fit the bill. With main range durability at 2-3 months and our current recipe Supernatural running at 4-5 months, Purple Haze Pro should sit nicely in the 3-4 months camp. It may do even more, but it’s very tricky to tell. The main thing is that it’s like normal Purple Haze, but better. We’ve also changed the smell so it’s a little less girly! If popular we may end up changing the main Purple Haze recipe to this fragrance as well.

some said this could be a fuzion look alike. And I like it. Blue velvet pro is coming and they have a metal polish coming too. I like it.

but will it be as easy to use as Fuzion. You cannot easily dismiss a wax that looks so darn nice, and yet so forgiving if overapplied.

I totally understand and I must say that I'm starting to like more every time I use DP maxWax and souveran because of the WOWO. But, for my personal car, I do have time to let it haze while I work on the interior and being a full time student and having other hobby, money is freaking tight and fuzion is way too much pricey for me.

I love this stuff just make sure its totally dry before removal can also be layered after 24 hours for that extra protection. Durability is just great aswell!

Got picture of the PH pro?

I just tried to combo and I must say i'm very disappointed. I thought the regular BV was easier to apply than those pro versions. Compared to fuzion and souveran, it's so awful to put an even coat, I had to spray some QD every panel. Removal is a bit easier but still harder than souveran or fuzion.

80 $ x2 for both BV and PH pro = 160$ for a 3-4 months durability or you get the same result with fuzion who last as long for what ? 195 but you know it's often on BOGO!

And I still find my panel with souveran is a bit wetter Didn't see the car outside, direct sunlight so I can't comment on the ''color changed dodo's wax'' effect.

The Dodo waxes are indeed harder to remove and less forgiving to overapplication (thus harder to buff off residue) than the Fuzion from Wolfgang and Souveran from Pinnacle as I noted above. I do however feel they look great alone so you have to measure the look, the use, the removal and your needs.

As I offered above, its hard to dismiss Fuzion as it just plain does all really well, and is darn easy to use too. But as offered it might no "always" be on sale and when its NOT its certainly a more expensive alternative.
