NTS7 Shampoo Review

Thoughts: GREAT smelling shampoo. Very slick in my hands.

Cleaning ability: 3.5/5

Foaming ability (through foam gun): 2.5/5

Slickness/gloss 4.5/5

Final Thoughts 4/5
Extended thoughts.. Besides being a great citrus"y" smell, the cleaning ability was descent. I had a some-what dusty car, with dirt splatters from the road on the front and rear panels. I was unable to take pictures because it's pretty dark when I finished. I was helping my mother with a moving sale yesterday and today.

Would I recommend this? Yes. With the deal with the wash mitt, it is a NO brainer. Good stuff, although I didn't like how well it foamed. Hence, probably it's not-so-strong cleaning ability. I have a few soaps now, and I will buy this. My main soaps are #901 or DP's Xtreme Foam. I am going to keep using this one too, except add a little bit of NXT for adding cleaning ability.

Pros: Smell, and gloss-y-ness (is this a word?) The best one out of there for gloss-y-ness. I would like to use DP Xtreme Foam and NTS7 for probably the best soap combination out there. Good fomaing, cleaning ability, smell, and gloss-y-ness AIO!!

Cons: MAYBE the price, but for $10 AND the wash mitt, like I said it's a no brainer. I would expect to pay around $6.99 or $7.99. And it's cleaning ability. I am sure no soap has it AIO, but NTS7 and DP's Xtreme Foam would be the darn closest to having it ALL.

Enjoy.. (and a BIG thumbs up to Supercharged for hooking me up!)

Enjoyed your write-up Nick. Just got an order of DG #901 yesterday. Glad to see that you use it also. Have never tried it. Anyway looks like an order of NTS7 is in the future.

It was descent foam, but nothing special. I'm going to add a little more foaming soap to achieve that pefect result.

Yes, glossiness (but "gloss" is perfectly suitable) is a word, just as citrusy.
"Descent" and "rateing" are pretty close misses.

But the shampoo itself is great. One of my go to soaps.

Yeah, I was using a public computer at the moment, and was in a hurry. I am known my for prolific spelling. ;)

Nick,
No worries here! It is easy to hit the wrong key here, and no one judges spelling, as most people's is atrocious! Sorry, when you are an English teacher, those things pop out at you like swirls on a car! my nails are long and I often bang wrong keys n don't check. fear not! we love you , nick!:righton:

Nick, I posted earlier had anyone tried any NTS7 -or whatever they are called- products, so I was delighted to see your write-up!
That was GREAT!!!!! Thank you so much for your time. I will be ordering because of that. you did a bomb job!!!
You rock.

I'd love to hear what you think of the stuff yougot from Suprchargd too! (Or was it Supercharged? I am challenged - sorry to everyone there.)
Luv,
Lauren T.:awesome: :applause: :applause: :applause: :)

Nick, thanks for rating the new NTS7 shampoo. Where did you get your write up format from it looks real similar to a write up on a different site I have seen before? Mike...

I am very detail oriented, and I like to organize my thoughts. I am a member here and at autopia, but I don't post much there. :awesome:

I have used #901, and I like it. For the price you can't go wrong. A good soap, with good cleaning, foaming, and slickness.

There are a few better out there though, if you're looking to spend the money.

I know, and I have some - but in your opinion what do you like best out of the pricey ones and why? I'd like to hearyour thoughts. Pinnacle for me, altho it's not a sudser.

Also, when you are being economical, what do you like best? I think I like the DG. You?

The Bad and Naughty, huh? You should create a new forum name as that.. ;)

Well, like buying a car, it's not all about price. If I can, (some how) see myself driving a Honda, with the same features (whatever, its an example) as say a Mercedes-Benz, I would take it.

In a nut-shell, (aside all naughty comments) the best combination of soap (stop it Lauren) would be DP's Xtreme Foam, and NTS7 shampoo.

I have no personal comments on Pinnacle or WG soap either..

Best economical wash: Meg's Gold Class.. 64oz for like $7 or something..

Best "cheap" AG wash, probably #901
Best intermediate priced wash, probably PB's SSS $12.99 for 32oz or NTS7 wash.
Best overall wash IMO, by itself, DP Xtreme Foam

I cannot comment on any other washes. And I will no longer wash with a single soap.

Good combos though...

50% NXT/50% NTS7
25% #901 or NTS7/75% GC (2nd fav)
50% #901/50% NTS7
50% DP Xtrme/50% NTS7 (my fav)

GC is a very nice, cheap, wash. Meg's #00 I also like.

Hope this helps some Lauren, holler back if you have any more questions.

Hmmmm.. I see you are those types of women that like to be forced upon.. then that way, if I screw up.. you can blame me! HA! j/k

I lead by example.. and you follow as I do :p

Back on topic.. wheew..

Which versions are you talking about? There's more than 4..

NXT is a little harsher, with more cleaning abilities. It is commonly used here, for detailers who encounter really dirty cars. It does not strip wash, harsh, but is close. For those really REALLY dirty blondes... errr.. I mean vettes, (don't they sound alike, or is the 3:16am time really killing me?) they get them real clean, no problem.

GC has a bit more foaming ability and is much softer on the paint, and is slicker. (don't get any ideas Lauren.. I will not slide around your super-slick vette, but maybe the inside, its easier to clean) GC is by far, the best bang-for-buck wash out there. It's like a 6/10 on every scale. Mixed with another wash, you can easily compose a good 9/10 or better wash. I sure wish I could re-brand all the mixing I do. $20oz, BEST car wash in the WORLD! I can only imagine.. Feed back please ROFL!

I've been a little naughty tonight.. :D

Nick, I have some PB ssw and remember reading that you didn't like it and some else said that the paint felt grabby when dryed. Well I was wondering if I added some DP 4-in-1 w/ ssw if this would maybe make the ssw better? Or do you have a different additive to help out the ssw? I have 32oz and now I wish that I got the sss instead. Mike...
