So this is my neighbor's 2006 Jeep Compass. My neighbor just got this lil car recently after an unfortunate accident that totalled his Volvo Wagon (No one was hurt.). He called and scheduling him in was extremely difficult as the weather wasn't cooperating and his and his wife's schedules didn't allow for us to take it during the week. So after 2 reschedules, I finally broke down and found a garage for John and I to work in to knock this puppy out. Though we're HUGELY appreciative of having permission to work in the garage, the lighting was so bad that we had to have a super-bright LED flashlight each to constantly check our work for the entire detail. This was an exterior-ONLY detail. On with the Process and pics.

PROCESS:

- Washed via ONR and dried with Absorber
- Clayed with Meg's Mild Clay bar and Meg's Last Touch as lube.
- Wheels and tires cleaned with light degreaser/Meg's Gold Class shampoo and warm water and aggitated with several wheel brushes, twice, as I wasn't satisfied the with the first attempt.
- Tires dressed with Meg's Endurance Tire Gel
- Correction aquired via M205 on LC Hydro-tech Tangerine 6.5" pads on Griot's and Flex DAs.
- LSP was Meg's Paint Reconditioning Cream applied via LC Red CCS no-cut 6.5" pad on Griot's Garage DA machine.

Now ON TO THE PICS!!!!

That is what I'm talking about...Awesome job...Love all the pics.....:xyxthumbs:

:D Thanks Sparkie. Wish there were more sun pictures though. :( For the before and after shots. They're so much more dramatic.

Thanks Fred. We're trying to get better at providing a little bit more than we're being paid for without going overboard like I used to. I'd spend 10-18 hours on a car for $150...no more. My prices went up for my retail customers and will go up for the next dealer we get under our belt. For now, the one dealer we have will stay the same, but we started charging him extra for doing headlights restorations. He's a cool guy though, so my other prices will stay the same. ;)

Quite the learning curve...all these black vehicles we've been doing. Anyone have a silver car that needs detailing?

Compass looks great, those wheels are so clean terrific job!!!!!!

Thanks so much Darin. :D Welcome to AG. Nice to see our thread as your first post! ;)
