Off topic...Kinda but weird too

Today I used my Migliore Competizione (glossiest wax I own!) anyway when I bought it about a year ago I wrapped the outside in clear box tape fearing the lettering on the

sticker would wear off. I got it out of my cupboard today and the lettering from under the tape was gone! Not that it matters but I thought it was weird! This is what it

should look like

It appears that:

The packing tape's adhesive-bonding-mechanism's-adhereance to the Competizione lettering was stronger
than the Competizione lettering's-bonding-mechanism's-adhereance was to the wax container.

Something had to give.
Be glad it wasn't the wax container.

I never pulled the tape off. That's the weird thing. The lettering disappeared from under the tape. I think Bob mailed it though. The tapes adhesive ate the lettering. Haha there's irony for ya!
