Offering Plastic Restoring

For those of you that run a business and offer plastic restoration as an ala carte item, what product are you using? I have a couple of products in mind but I am wondering what would be the better approach:

Dye-based formula so it lasts longer (assuming)
Gel type formula (unsure life of product)

I would be hesitant to offer that as an ala carte item and then use something like Forever Black or Black WOW and have it wear off in a few months. I am wondering if I shouldn't opt for something more permanent since they are paying for it. Opinions on what direction to go?

Well there are many items on the market for a restoring plastic it's always best to do some hands on experimenting with your own weathered or faded plastic. It's always best to know how product works and how it's going to react prior to offer it to your customers.

This way when you offer the service to a customer you can explain to them the pros and the cons and give them an idea of how long the product is going to last on that vehicle.

Me personally I use solution finish for black plastic restorations. The key to these products is all in the prep work. If you fail to prep the plastic the right way the product may fail sooner than expected.

Check into Solution Finish and CQuartz DLUX. Both are excellent products; however, I like the looks of DLUX a bit better. Also, I have seen Solution Finish last for 1.5 years on some plastics and fade as soon as 3 months on other plastics. DLUX has been consistent 1yr+ on everything I have used it on.

Evan is right take the time and prep well make sure the surface is clean! I use Dlux and solution finish.
