As the title states, is this suitable? I was wanting to either put a coat of liquid souverain or natty's blue, but I also don't want to interfere with the long lasting durability of the collinite.

Thanks in advance.

I topped it with liquid souveran once and it killed durability. It was a recent 845 coat and it defaulted to liquid souveran durability for me (what it would be solo). Perhaps liquid souveran solvents didn't play well.

Good to know. Would a first wax, such as xmt 360 spray wax, have the same impact?

How about another coat of 845? Do a test spot with the spray wax.
I have 476s on both my DD and have been using Megs Synthetic Xpress spray wax once a month for maintenance with no issues.

Would applying a coat of megs liquid yellow caranuba w synthetic wax over the top kill the longevity of the collinite? You guys got me scared now lol.

I think it was more just Liquid Souveran... but I've been meaning to do a longer term test with a coat of MaxWax and Liquid Souveran over 845 to ensure it wasn't a fluke. I normally rewax frequently enough not to run a LSP into the ground but this was during winter. I recoated with 845 and had no issues thereafter. I've been using Meg's Ultimate Quik Wax spray as a booster with Collinite. I generally don't top or mix LSP's.

If you were looking to top 845 (or any other product), it'd be better to stick to a paste wax, as liquid waxes are likely to have stronger solvents (due to the necessity of keeping the product liquid) - excluding those products which use water as their carrier, of course (spray waxes and the like).
