I recently have gotten back into detailing. A few years ago i bought a lot of detailing products. I cam across an old jar of zaino clay There is 2 bars of yellow clay still in plastic. I see that the new clay is red. Is the older yellow clay better or is there really no difference between the two.

How old is it? I'm trying to remember if the Zaino clay was yellow back in the old Erazer days, I know it was in the post-Erazer days before it was red.

In either case it should be fine to use as long as it is still pliable.

All of the Zaino clay bars that I have are red. As long as they are properly cared for they should be fine.

I'm sure I remember a thread from that other forum you and I used to spend a lot of time on, where someone had pictures of a yellow Zaino bar next to a yellow clay bar of another brand (not your father's clay) with the same markings on the cellophane. It may have been after that that Sal decided his clay should be a more unique color.
