I'm trying to maintain all the family vehicles and getting used to using a DA Polisher.
I have spent the time doing a compound if needed, then polish, then sealer. plus all the prep work before that.
That is just too much time to keep up 7 vehicles for me and my limited time.
I almost fell for 3D Speed because it sounded too good to be true, plus easy on and easy off!
However, after reading posts and reviews on here, I understand it is a trade off , not the best polish or sealant.
I could see a pro using One Steps and not worrying about the durability.
I need a sealant that will really last, preferably one that buffs off easy as well.
A few of our cars are colored and I'd like to try to make them pop with a nice polish first. The last products I used on one was Meguiars Ultimate Polish, then Ultimate Liq Wax.
Seems like it too forever to wipe the greasy polish off (multiple high quality mf towels) , plus couldn't let it dry so one panel at time, plus had to tape all black off.
then the wax was great, super easy on and off , did the whole car at once without stopping.
Guess my question is there any way to cheat and use a light polish that comes off super easy or a One Step then follow with a Sealant that will stick and get long lasting protection?
I understand most true sealants will even need a additional IPA wipedown after polish to get it superclean before applying to stick better.
That's just a lot of time per vehicle twice a year at least.
