Whose doing it? I've been on it for a few years now, ever since the divorce. I work nights + 12 hour shifts so this is the most convenient way for me. I mainly use Tinder and Bumble. What a circus. I've met some nice ones though.. just my taste is pretty particular. If you go on Reddit under the Tinder sub.. that's pretty much how my experience has gone 98% of the time smh.

As for me, tinder can be useful even though I'm pretty skeptical about all these matching apps. I believe that everyone has a perfect match, the main thing is just to try to find it in real life

well guys I am a senior 79 years young....I was lucky to met a wonderful women on silver singles..we lived about 5 hours away from each other but we talked on the phone about 5 hours every night...so when we first met we really knew each other....my late wife passed away after 36 years of a great marriage
Yes I was on other sites and met some money hungry women...LOL...my advice don't rush into it....

LOL! Oh lord only you would come up with that. To the OP, I met my wife of now 15 years ago on EHarmony and found it to be the best platform for me. Others I tried at the time seemed to be for the less serious. I found that the cost and the detail asked of the member alone weeded out those not interested in a serious relationship. Their algorithm did an excellent job of matching more compatible people and the process was so much more thorough in getting to know the person before ever committing to providing personal contact info and setting up a meetup.

That's one of the funniest posts I have seen here in a long time. I literally laughed out loud....

As to the OP's question, I met my wife on OKCupid and highly recommend the site. I actually saw a 60 minutes report on the nerds....er....smart guys from MIT who started that site. They actually have an effective algorithm that works. My wife and I were a 92 percent match. I still joke with her about the missing 8 percent....

lol, I still don't believe in the power of these apps, your cases seem to be more like an exception from the rule, tbh
Dating sites may be useful when you're searching for a nightstand. I don't know anyone who found his/her partner in online dating apps, except for you, guys. All people searching for someone there are usually sexually frustrated in their own partners and want to try something new or they just can't satisfy their need for sex on their own, so they find someone else to receive a mutual benefit.
If it wasn't for wise articles, https://breakupangels.com/tag/movies/ for instance, and some really nice people on forums saying me that online dating apps usually turn out to be a total mess, I would still contact guys from these apps searching for true love and hoping to meet a soulmate, but we're not in a fairy tale, unfortunately.
