Hello all,

I had a plan of coating my car but was unfortunately rear ended, and the impact moved the car quite a bit and caused me to shunt the car in front of me.

Here we are 3 weeks later and the polish and coat plan is on hold (for obvious reasons).

Apart from that it is around 110 degrees most of the time, making it a bit difficult to wash (2bm) the car these days.

I was planning on using ONR as a rinsless wash before the accident.

Now, can I use ONR if the car was recently painted? They painted the front bumper, rear bumper and rear trunk. I'm not sure if ONR has an wax in it - I remember reading it does.

P.S. This is the regular ONR (blue).

Car is an Accord 2016 (avatar).

Thank you!

onr is paint shop safe , can paint right over it.

Thank you!

It's safe on the repaint. I posted something like this last year

Rinse less wash body shop safe?

I didn't have ONR but I did use meguiars 114.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Hope your ok and hope you'll post up some pictures once the paint is cure.

Thank you for that. I know D114 does not leave anything behind so its safe for sure. ONR on the other hand I was unsure of....

Seeing how many people use ONR on here its weird how theres no replies. Oh well :)

I saw that but he said he used Optimum Spray wax and not ONR. My car is only 5 months old so I really do not want to mess it up! :P

ONR is safe for on your freshly painted panels. Blue=polymers-Green=Wax.
