ONR Towels

So I've been contemplating adopting ONR as a new way to wash vehicles that aren't incredibly soiled. Would it be appropriate to utilize waffle weave towels for this? In theory they work for waterless washes so why not a rinse less wash?

I wash with the rolled edge mf towels then dry everything up with a waffle weave

I use blue rolled edge or these 600gsm towels I have from another outlet.

For me, I would say you need a deep nap towel for the first pass on a rinseless. For the final wipe a waffle weave would be fine.

Why not use a grout sponge?

I ask myself this as well but its preference I suppose. I like grout sponges which are faster/easier to use and are easy/quick to clean afterwards.
