Hi all, first off I want to say I love this forum, I've gotten so much helpful info from here recently, so thank you.

I'm totally new to rinseless washes and just got a bottle of ONR. I've searched this forum for info on ONR V3, in particular how it interacts with Collinite 845 but I haven't found much. I'm curious as to if V3 negatively affects the slickness/beading properties of 845 as previous versions of ONR reportedly have.

I just applied 845 on my daily driver for the winter and have the Klasse twins on my truck, with 3 layers of SG. I haven't found anything negative about using ONR on Klasse, but I wanted to see if anyone has used V3 on 845 before my first wash with it.

Also, does anyone have experience using V3 as a QD? I mixed a 16 oz bottle of it (1:16) with 1oz of KSG and I used this on one panel of the truck just to test it out. It definitely leaves it slick, and it's a slightly different feel than the rest of the truck. To me, KSG almost feels like a really smooth plastic, and after spraying the QD mixture on it, it has more of the traditional smooth glass feeling.

So I rinseless washed the car after work today with ONR and it definitely took some of the slickness away from the 845. I used the two bucket method and pre-soaked each panel. Then wiped down with an MF mitt, and then dried with an MF towel. ONR cleaned very well and did not streak, and the paint looks just as deep as it did after I put the 845 on, but like I said, it isn't as slick as it was. It's supposed to rain/snow in the next couple of days so I will see if it affected the 845's beading properties. Only time will tell if the durability is affected after continued use.

Overall I really like ONR and will use it on the truck that has KSG on it, and use as a clay lube. But I think I may end up trying DG 931 as a rinseless/qd on the car to see if it has a different effect.

I've also read about ONR affecting 845 negatively. However, I never noticed any depreciation of slickness, and I used the original version. But I use A.W. every time I dry the car after washing, so that might make a difference.
