Opt Polish/Compund

Is their a diffference between Opt polish/compund compared to PBs SSRs, Is one better then the other ,or is it a matter of preference..I have the all the SSRs and i happy with their performance. I do hear the OPT polish/compund come up many times over in the forums..

The biggest difference it the amount of time you have to use the product. It does not dry/haze flash anywhere near most polishes. You wont find yourself spritzing the pad with water midway thru a panel as this lasts a mightly long time compared to most polishes.

killrwheels is a longer working time when using compounds,im not sure just asking. I thought some compounds worked better with a dry pad so i was told.I guessing if a product has a longer working time this might leave a better finish?

My impressions of them is that you can decide when you want to stop polishing and not have to wait for hazing or flashing off. I did some rotary practice recently and like PB, Optimum works alright in the direct sun.

When using some polishes (and in sunlight) a polish sometimes drys/flashes very quickly and doesnt quite get the job done. With Optimum you will work it longer and thus will never complain that it dried to quickly.

Spritzing a pad with water if you see the polish start to cure (cloud) was an old trick to get a little last power out of the polish. I dont really suggest it, but it works.
