So I finally decided to apply the Opti-Coat 2.0 to my 2010 Kia Forte, Clear White in color. I washed, IronX'd, clayed, 205 on a white Kompressor on the Makita, followed with PO87 on a red Hydro-Tech on the Makita. Those steps alone made that white look better than I had ever seen white look. Then.... The Opti-Coat. I was a little put off by some of the talk about thick spots, streaks and such... but in reality, if you take your time, go thin... THIS STUFF IS EASY TO APPLY!

I know... PICTURES! Face it... it's white. I am trying to get a money shot to show just how good it looks...

This is the product of choice and will be part of my arsenal too...:props:

I love this stuff also. I think you nailed the application by saying take your time. Patience with the application and it is a breeze!

Wait till you see how easy it is to maintain your car from this point. I've also noticed something few have observed...after a few months the car looks better than when first applied. It actually looks better everytime I wash it. Its as revolutionary as ONR...which in my book means a product that's a real game changer. I can't even imagine what Dr G has up his sleeve at this point.

just did two black cadillacs and just take you time one panel at a time no sweat.waited a week after first one and through a coat of midnight sun on top of the opticoat. sweet indeed.

For you guys that have applied to there cars already...
I'm going to have Opti Coat applied to mines in a couple of weeks by a Member here, he's a Pro like alot of you here.

I live in a apartment building with No water access in the garage to wash by hand.
I plan on going to a self wash to spray the car down with water.

So my Question is what should I use after the car is sprayed down with water???

I'm thinking when the car is still wet, just dry it off and then use something like Opti Clean or just spray Opti Clean on the wet car and then wipe it dry.

I would love to hear what you all think would be best for me and if there are other products that would work for me.

Thanks alot.

Who is doing paint correction prior to OC?

I don't know if I should say but he's posted in Show N Shine and I've talked to him numerous times to discuss what would work for me.

I just don't want to put someone's name out there not knowing if they want me to.

If he wants to when he's done, I'm sure he'll post up pics.
