This will be my first detail on a 2013 Nissan Murano we bought with 11,000 miles on it. I will Iron-x first and then clay.I have some Optimum Spray Hyper polish coming and need some advise. I am not needing to correct anything, just want to get as much shine as possible before applying sealer and wax. Am thinking a LC white polishing pad will be OK ? Also do I do a panel at a time and wipe off and do you let it dry to a haze before wiping it off? Understand this is water based and if so shouldn't need to do an alcohol wipe down? I know this is pretty basic but would like to hear from members that have used this stuff before I jump in and make some mistakes.

It will still be wet when you wipe it off. It will give you a beautiful finish with a white pad. I've used it on a gray pad also for a little better gloss. This is my favorite polish. Very user friendly. It will wipe rigt off. If you do find you need some correction that you aren't taking care of on the white pad just step up the pad and it will give you more cut

Yeah, great polish, you can wipe off a panel at a time or wait and do the whole car. And yes, you can go right to a coating after using it.

The only problem with the spray polishes is spraying your arm, the polisher, the car, instead of the pad.
