Orange Peeled Clearcoat

Hi everyone, i have a car to do that has one section where the clear orange peeled after painting. My process plan is 2000 grit wetsanding 1500 if needed,Wolfgang swirl remover 3.0, finishing glaze then paint sealant. its about a 2 foot area. Grateful for any and all help and suggestions. I have a PC and Rotary.

You have to know first how much CC is on the car....Then you have start with 1000 or 15000 ,then move to 2000-2500 and then to 3000,just to make your life easier removing the sanding marks....3000 marks can be removed easier than 2000 marks....And stay away from the edges......

Are you using a rotary or a PC?

I would just knock it down little by little, what I mean is leave a little orange peel at first then gradually work your way to the other texture of the rest of your paint.
