Okay, I have read Autogeek's website that talks about both of these polishers. Are orbital polishers more aggresive, thus being faster to polish/wax? I really need help on this. Thanks in advance.

If your talking about one of those cheapo orbitals in the stores, their worthless. I wouldn't even use them for wax application. Nowhere near the power of a random orbital like a PC, and the PC isn't near as powerful as a true rotary as well.

I am talking about the circular polishers, like the makita or dewalt.

I think you are wanting to know about a Rotary like Surfer stated it is circular. If you have no experience with either the PC or Rotary then you should go with the PC as it is much safer to use for beginners and really reduces the amount of marring/hazing/trails that can be introduced with a beginner with a rotary. I would say a rotary has a much greater learning curve than a PC but with the PC there is still a learning curve but it is much safer. I have seen where alot of people end up using the PC for final step polish in order to prevent the problems that a rotary can cause with a beginner. If you don't have either start with the random orbital PC. The key to the results with a PC is "Patience".

Very well written and put.
The PC is a valuable tool. It's taken me a while to master it.....well it's never mastered! Remember, the PC is not correcting paint like a rotary can. It's smoothing the edges out of scratches to make them less noticable.......not removing them. A rotary can do this but it can damage paint severely if untrained. Plus a rotary is alot faster at paint correction. I'm using one now and while still learning, I'm already shaving about an hour off of a paint restoration. I still use the PC too for hard to reach areas or for more delicate situations.

I will be doing a review later on the Harbor Freight model that I have been using for the last month. It's simply a nice piece of equipment.

Wow, thank you so much. Why is it so cheap? Does it still give the same results?
