So i have been on this OTC kick for about 2 weeks, i have been picking things up on sale and giving them a try. Walked in advanced and saw a sign for eagle 1 products 2/$7. so i grabbed a bottle of the no drip tire shine gel and gel wax. I used the tire shine gel and it was amazing, no sling no terrible odor like megs OTC tire shines, and it went on my 35" BFG mud terrains smooth. Next i tried the gel wax on my perfectly polished paint. It went on good but was a sticky mess to remove. I watched a how-to video on youtube sponsored by eagle one. It made it clear to apply thinly. So tonight i decided to give it another chance. I applied with an autoglym perfect palm applicator very thinly, this was applied over my megs number 20 polymer sealant. The gel wax this time came off very easily and gave off a nice warm glow. I have heard rumors about the high concentration of carnuba in this wax, maybe its true maybe not who knows... But on the bottle it says "Will not stain plastic trim, enhances color!" so i decided to give it a try on my bed rails and bumper plastic. It looks like the most expensive trim product you can buy. It is a perfect shine, not dull, not glossy, but just clean and deep and black. Maybe ill just save this wax for plastics and trim or maybe for paint too, if your like me, you like every little piece of your truck to have wax on it, even my headlights will bead water like a phene.

Just my 2 cents thought id share my find with you guys...

Thanks for the heads up, always looking for new OTC products when you need something on the fly

I got sucked into an Eagle One Gel Wax deal too:A mail-in coupon that refunded the entire purchase price. IMO it did virtually nothing to enhance the appearance or protection on the two cars on which I tried it.
But, it worked fantastic on the grained plastics of every car I tried. First I would use a dressing such as Meguiar's or Mother's B-to-B to get the color, and then top it with Eagle One. The combo of Meg's Gold Class dressing and Eagle One Gel Wax is still showing a bit of beading on my winter driver and it was done in early December.
