Well winter will soon be here and I have used up my Optimum No Rinse with Wax. Have been pleased with it but was wanting to know, before I order some more, if there is a better alternative out there and why?

I've recently stopped using my ONR as frequently after falling in love with Ultima Waterless Wash + Concentrate. SO easy and doubles as rinseless and waterless, as well as my go to now for clay lube and detail spray/drying aid!

16oz.-$16.99 and dilutes to 6.5 gallons of RTU solution.

Don't get me wrong, I still love ONR, but if you're maintaining with weekly or bi-weekly washing....UWW+ is the way to go!

Meguiar's D114 is also great, but I like that Ultima leaves a little protection behind after every use.

Meguiar's D114 if you want something that leaves nothing behind. D115 if you want something that leaves something behind.

I like Duragloss Rinseless Wash with Aquawax a lot more than ONRWW. It doesn't make your wash media gross, and I personally think it looks a little better.

I have ONRWW and it's a nice product. Since you're looking for something similar and IMO better, D115 is it! It works great in direct sunlight on a warm day, almost impossible to make it streak and it works well on colder days to. The shine and feel after are very nice. I use it as rinseless at 1oz to 2 gallons water. For waterless it can be diluted all the way to 1:20 and still clean quite well. I typically use it at 1:8or10 though.

You posted in this thread... http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...394-duragloss-rinseless-wash-weird-issue.html

...and I'm still seeing bottle and gallons on shelves that look like what I posted in that thread.

In fact, I've yet to see a bottle not looking like what I posted in that thread.

I like the product, and I've shook the ever lovin' heck out of it, but I won't be using any more unless I can find a good bottle. If it turns that way sitting on the shelf over time even with current bottles, then I'll pass.

This time I will say that if the product does that, then it's a problem. DG is the only product of 4 similar products I've used that does this. The only way to use it when it does this is to filter it. I'll pass as no one should have that much of a bother using any product. I love Duragloss products, but this one I can't stand because you can't simply grab it a do what you need...at least I've never been able to.

Oh, I'd love to find a bottle that didn't look like the one I posted in that thread and if I did I might find using it an enjoyable experience, but until then...

It's no fun trying to wipe, re-wipe, then keep on wiping just to remove a residue that shouldn't be there in the first place. I'll stick with the others products I use.

DG Rinseless is awesome with their Aquawax as a wipedown topper. ONR+C is great too, wouldn't surprise me if D115 is a good performer.

You may want to wait a couple of weeks till SEMA

There may be a GREAT new rinseless available....................

Just a guess on my part.

How many times can they reinvent the wheel?

It doesn't get any better than UWW+, ONR, Opti-Clean, D114/115, and an entire gamut of similar products from PBMG not to mention DetailJuice...Poly's...etc.

Have you tried the new product? I have. I have also tried some NOT ALL of the products you listed, and find I like this one better.....

just an opinion from someone who has used it.

Not sure which you're referring to, Ron.

If you're referring to Duragloss, no. I liked what I used, just not worth filtering it for the bottle I have, nor a new bottle that may do the same. I wasn't knocking how it works if you can get all the junk out of it that'll smear every where.

I think Ron was referring to the new "prototype" RW from AG which some lucky people got the opportunity to try recently.

The wheel continues to be reinvented, often times of new material. Something to think about. :xyxthumbs:
