I've had some P21-S for a few months, I know I know, and have never used it. My question is, are you suppose to mix it with water OR spray it, how it's in the bottle, onto the brakes and rims?

Just spray it right on. I don't really like the sprayer that comes with the P21S, because you really need to squeeze the trigger to get it to mist out. Otherwise, it will come out in a jet stream. A nice misting sprayer would be nice. Especially with the price of the cleaner, I would prefer to be able to cover more of the wheel with one spray.

That may be because of the consistancy of the cleaner, it might not be able to be sprayed in a fine mist...

Make sure you let the cleaner dwell for a little bit, so you are really taking advantage of the "gel".

Well, the P21 works great. The only thing with this Mercedes Benz S55 is that it's an '05 and has never been taken care of. The rims are kinda shot due to the brake dust being backed on them.

Here is what the Wheel(s) looked like before:

I will take pics of it later this afternoon.

Are we talking P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner or P21S Regular Wheel Cleaner?

The Regular Wheel Cleaner is a fast-acting formula for regular cleanings of well-maintained wheels. You let it sit for about a minute and then you agitate with a brush and rinse off.

The Gel Wheel Cleaner is a slow-acting formula for heavily-soiled wheels or wheels that are exposed to high-dusting brake pads/rotors. The Gel can be allowed to stand for up to 2 hours; cleaning power is controlled, as the longer it sits, the better the cleaning. After your preferred cleaning time, just agitate with a brush and then rinse off.

That is the one I'm pretty sure that I have. Here are some pics of the Rim I took this afternoon:

The brake pads were nice and clean after I washed the Mercedes this afternoon. Driving it into town started to make a mess on those rims. Boy does the brake dust like to come out quickly. lol

safe, effective ... so great a product !

Very nice!:dblthumb2:

Thanks Bud. I just wish I had the tools to take off the wheels and really make then shine.

Meg's WB will get rid of the crud on the inside without removing. You still did a great job and I know your customer is happy.

How are you applying the megs WB to the inside? Whats the dwell time? how much scrubbing?

I ask because I just spent 3 hours on a neglected mini van with chrome rims that I had to bus tout polish and finger pockets on to get clean.

Will XXXX steal wool scratch chrome rims?

Oh, she is very happy with my work. She will not let anyone clean either of her two vehicles. Her husband is a different story, although, he wants me to work on his Lexus SC 430.

Nice looking wheels after you cleaned them up. P32s Wheel Cleaner is good stuff. Some people just don't care about their cars. The OEM Mercedes brake pads do make a lot of dust. If it was my car I would change them.

Thanks Gary. As much as I hate white vehicles, this is my favorite car I live working on. Everytime I just wash it, everyone loves to see it on the road.

It looks almost like my wife's E500 but she has different AMG wheels and a different front grill.

I love the looks of your wifes vehicle. My client will not even trade either of her MB's for a E-Class AMG. She says it can only be an S-Class AMG. My friend, up at MB of Boerne, is waiting for the new S-Class info to come out to the public for her.

I've used P21S gel on those same exact wheels but on an E55 AMG. they do clean up nice! good job.

WB = Wheel Brightener. Meguiar's Wheel Brightener is an acidic and highly effective wheel cleaner. It only costs a bit less than $20 a gallon and is diluted anywhere from 4:1 up to 10:1, but is usually only approved for use on factory aluminum alloy wheels.

Here is my list of wheel brushes that I currently use most often to clean wheels thoroughly:

-Mothers Wheel Brush for the rims.
-Zymol Wheel Brush for the lug nuts.
-EZ Detail Brush for the inner wheel barrels.
-Mini EZ Detail Brush bent in an "L" shape to agitate the behind the spokes of the rim.
