P21S offered some small samples of their upcomming new Cockpit Cleaning Spray at DFIV. I got a chance to test it while driving a rental this past week. As usual the car was a mess, so I got to test some products.

This product comes out in a milky white appearance, and the scent is low but kinda reminds of coconuts. It left a nice and new appearance, removed some minor marks, and no real gloss. Measuring it against Poorboys Natural Look, I would suggest the spray is easier to use and same nice looks. The bottle claims anti-static ability and hopefully the rental will be long gone before I can test this out !!

I dont know if it offers any UV protection, and looking to see its pricing and size when released but seems like it could be a winner for those that dont prefer dressings on interior parts.

Anyone else pick some up and test it yet ???

I have one of the sample bottles and should be trying it out next week. I'll let you know then. ;)

I gave the bottle a try I picked up. I like the scent, I like the fine mist sprayer. Filled out the product sheet and mailed it off. I agree with your findings Scott. I didn't see anything special, too many others to pick from if the pricing isn't down to earth. If it's high priced, not me.

I'm looking to try my sample bottle also.
The p21S rep. at the show said my 303 protectant was like water when compared to this stuff.. ???
He also said it had u/v protection in it..

For a real fine mist and no mess/overspray, try applying it with a Tornador.

Sounds like the product will be sold as a competitor to 303. Anyone try it on the weather seals?

naw ...still like the Einszett Rubber Stick for weather seals.

I got it at detailfest too. It actually works really well on rubber trims, cleans them up very nice. I didn't like it on vinyl though, didn't seem to work as some other cheaper products. I actually like the small size of it though, makes it perfect for something to keep in the glovebox. My spray nozzle was busted though, I have to shake it when I spray it to get it to work right, lol.

I don't think it does any sort of conditioning or hydrating of the rubber though. Does the 1Z stuff do that? I've got one of those Wurth rubber sticks as well, it doesn't seem to condition the rubber any either.

My rubbers are soft and supple after using Einszett, not sure exactly how much conditioning it did however. They look nice and new also.

Now that is a siggy quote right there. :D

I placed a 1Z order in my cart for a try. THX for the tip.

P21S Cockpit Cleaner

If anyone tried this product and liked it as I did, I highly suggest contacting P21S and suggesting they formalize the product for release.

I emailed them asking when I could get more , and told they are still evaluating the product and if it should be released.

Kinda sounds more like optimum int protect, moreso than 1z cockpit/sonus cockpit/surf city dash away huh?

I have been using 1z lately but prefer the thicker optimum over the thin aio interior products, gonna have to try this out. Thanks for the heads up.
