Pads for DWP849x

Just purchased this DWP849X = plan on buffing & waxing my boat.

Wondering what pads would work best for this job? Any advice you can share from your experiences before I purchase?

I have the same buffer and I use a 6" LC backing plate with 6.5" LC ccs pads. I've also use the kompressor pads wich arnt too bad. I've detailed boats but I'm no professional in that dept. Some others with more boat experience may have other suggestions for pads. Also its all about what works for you in the long run

Wool pad and marine compounds. McKee's, Mirka Polarshine.

Definately some wool pads.

Wool pads for the compound,foam or hand application for the wax,depending how big the boat is.
